'Modi, double my age at 72, relies on Central agencies:' Abhishek Banerjee Urges fair fight in people's court

Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee, aged 36, boldly addressed the ongoing political battle between him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning the use of central agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the fight.

Following his 9.5-hour-long interrogation by the CBI, Banerjee confronted BJP leaders who had spread rumors about his potential arrest, leaving them disappointed when he emerged unscathed.

In a bold statement, Banerjee pointed out the significant age difference between himself and Prime Minister Modi, who is 72 years old. He questioned the reliance on central agencies by a leader with such immense power and urged those in authority to engage in a fair fight in the people's court.

As Banerjee faced a lengthy and intense questioning session during his CBI summon, BJP leaders seized the opportunity to spread the message that his arrest was imminent. However, their speculations were shattered when Banerjee emerged from the CBI office unharmed, leaving his opponents' hopes in tatters.
